Agriculture Act 1947 (C. 48)

| To establish Agricultural Land Tribunals, to enable land to be acquired by a Minister to enable its efficient use; to control pests and weeds. |

Functions exercisable solely by WAG or the National Assembly for Wales. |
The following Ministerial functions are exercisable solely by the Welsh Ministers in relation to Wales namely:- section 74: Proceedings before an Agricultural Land Tribunal on a Minister reference.
- sections 84-94: Acquisition whether compulsory or by agreement of land by Minister for the purpose of agriculture.
- section 95: Ministerial power to direct that land shall be ceased for specific purposes.
- section 98-101: Ministerial powers to prevent damage to crops, animals etc. by pests.
