Agriculture Act 1957 (C. 57)
To make provision for guaranteed prices and assured markets for producers of agricultural produce.  

Functions exercisable solely by WAG or the National Assembly for Wales.

The following Ministerial function under this Act is exercisable solely by the Welsh Ministers in relation to Wales namely:
  • section 5: Power to make provision for the protection of produce or livestock which is the subject of guaranteed prices under section 1 of the Act (section 1 was repealed by the Agricultural Act 1993).
