Functions exercisable solely by WAG or the National Assembly for Wales.
The Ministerial functions which are exercisable solely by the Welsh Ministers in relation to Wales are: section 1: Provision for services or goods free or by charge to any person relating to the production and marketing of agricultural produce and food; conservation of the countryside or any other agricultural activity. section 17: Duty to balance the conservation and enhancement of the countryside with the promotion of an efficient agricultural industry in carrying out all agricultural functions. section 18: Power to designate areas as an environmentally sensitive area and to enter into agreements to conserve the area.
