The only Ministerial functions under this Act exercisable solely by the Welsh Ministers in relation to Wales are : sections 9 (except the function of the Secretary of State as a recipient of property transferred to him pursuant to a direction made under subsection (2) and except subsection (6)), 16 and 16A. section 9: Disposal of property accepted by Inland Revenue Commissioners. section 9(2) and 9(6): A Minister may direct that any property accepted in satisfaction of tax, may be transferred to any institution or body including the Secretary of State listed in section 3 (Grants and loans from the fund) which is willing to accept it. - The Ministers shall lay before Parliament as soon as may be after the end of each financial year a statement giving particulars of transfer made in that year. section 16: Indemnities for objects on loans. A Minister may indemnify any institution, body or person for the loss of, or damage to, any object belonging to that institution, body or person falling under that section. section 16A: Secretary of State to prepare an annual report on indemnities given under section 16.
