Town and Country Planning Act 1971 (C. 78)

as added by Transfer of Functions Order - S.I. 2000/253

To make provision, among other matters for making regulations for the giving of grants to local authorities for development purposes.  

Functions exercisable solely by WAG or the National Assembly for Wales.

The Ministerial functions under this Act which are exercisable solely by the Welsh Ministers in relation to Wales are:
  • section 250 to 252: Powers by regulations to make grants to local authorities for the development or redevelopment of any of their area. Note: These provisions are repealed by the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, except as regards grants made before the commencement of the 1990 Act.
