Disability Discrimination Code of Practice (Goods, Facilities, Services and Premises) Order 1999 No. 1992

Summary:

This Order appoints 1st October 1999 as the date on which the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 Code of Practice on the Rights of Access to Goods, Facilities, Services and Premises, issued by the Secretary of State on 29th June 1999 ("the new code"), shall come into force. It also revokes the Code of Practice of the same title, issued by the Secretary of State for Social Security on 25th July 1996, on the 1st October 1999. The new code may be obtained from The Stationery Office, PO Box 276, London SW8 5DT, The Stationery Office book shops and the Stationery Office's accredited agents.
