Gambling Act 2005 (Commencement No. 6 and Transitional Provisions) (Amendment) Order 2006 No. 3361

Summary:

This Order amends the Gambling Act 2005 (Commencement No. 6 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2006 and is made in consequence of defects in that Order. The Order deletes the reference to section 285 in Schedule 2 to the Commencement Order (which lists the provisions coming into force on 30th April 2007). A reference to that section already appears in Schedule 1 (which lists the provisions coming into force on 1st January 2007). The Order also amends the reference to section 80 in Schedule 1 to make it clear that that provision is brought into force on 1st January 2007 only to the extent that it is not already in force.
