Children's Homes (Wales) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2007 No. 311 (W. 28) OPSI - Children's Homes (Wales) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations
Summary: These Regulations amend the Children's Homes (Wales) Regulations 2002. The Regulations make provision for minimum levels of qualification and experience for managers and staff of children's homes, the designation of a member of staff of a children's home to safeguard and promote the health and educational welfare of each child placed in the home, registration of staff and managers with the Care Council for Wales, minimum numbers of qualified staff, minimum numbers of permanent staff, a requirement to ensure that children have access to a dentist, and make other minor amendments to the principal Regulations . The Regulations also make consequential amendments to the Registration of Social Care and Independent Health Care (Wales) Regulations 2002.
