This Order is the first commencement order under the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007.
The Order brings into force on 19th September 2007 various provisions of the Act including provisions relating to the Senior President of Tribunals and Tribunal Procedure Rules, provisions in Part 2 of the Act relating to judicial appointments, and those provisions of the Act establishing powers to transfer tribunal functions and other order-making powers.
The Order brings into force on 1st November 2007 provisions of the Act which establish and otherwise relate to the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council and to the Scottish Committee of the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council.
The Order brings into force on 1st December 2007 provisions of the Act which amend the Employment Tribunals Act 1996[10] so as to create a new title of "Employment Judge".
The Order brings into force on 1st April 2008 the provisions of the Act which relate to compulsory purchase orders.
The Order brings into force on 1st June 2008 the provisions of the Act which establish and otherwise relate to the new Welsh Committee of the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council.
