Assembly Learning Grant (Further Education) Regulations 2008 No. 538 (W. 51)

Summary:

These Regulations provide for the payment of a means tested grant to help meet the costs of studying, to students in post compulsory education who are ordinarily resident in Wales and who are taking designated further education courses during the academic year beginning on or after 1 September 2008. The grant will be available to eligible students whether they choose to study in Wales or elsewhere in the UK.
The Regulations come into force on 1 April 2008 and apply in respect of grants for the academic year beginning on or after 1 September 2008 but before 1 September 2009.
Detailed guidance has been prepared on the operation of the Regulations.
